At Raliegh Goss we ensure all of these pieces are sustainably sourced with correct cities documents . The company donates a percentage of their monthly sales towards WildAid.
Why WildAid? Where most wildlife conservation groups focus on scientific studies and anti-poaching efforts, WildAid works to reduce global consumption of wildlife products and to increase local support for conservation efforts. They also work with governments and partners to protect fragile marine reserves from illegal fishing and shark finning, to enhance public and political will for anti-poaching efforts, and to reduce climate change impacts. Ambassadors of the charity include HRH Prince William, Sir Richard Branson and Leonardo di Caprio.
Petrified wood is the result of a tree or tree-like plant having completely transitioned to stone by the process of per-mineralization.
